General Policies
To make our resort more enjoyable for our resort guests, we request you be mindful of the following policies:
- Valhalla Resort is a private property and as such, is not open to unregistered, unpaid people. The vacation home you rent, along with our complete resort area, is for paid, registered guests only.
- RVs and tents are not allowed on our resort property.
- Car washing is NOT allowed on our premises. We have many commercial car washes in our village.
Upon booking you automatically agree to Valhalla Resort’s cabin rental pet policies listed below:
- Our non-refundable pet fee is $25.00 per night per dog.
- The only pets allowed are dogs and there are only 2 pets allowed per cabin.
- Pets must be supervised at all times and well mannered to include house trained and no excessive barking. Any damages to the cabin or property will be charged back to the credit card on file, including cleaning up the grounds after your pets.
- You must clean up after your pet. Bags are provided at the cabin and around the property.
- Excessive pet hair found in the cabin will incur an additional minimum $50 cleaning fee.
- Pets must always be leashed when outside and can not be left tied up outside or alone in the cabin.
- Pets are expected to be up to date on their shots and tick/flea protection.
- Pets must be friendly with other pets and people, please no aggressive pets. Be mindful of other guests near your cabin and in common areas of the property.
- If pets are found in a non-pet-friendly cabin or are not authorized by management, an additional cleaning fee of $200 will be charged to your credit card on file.
- Pets are only allowed in Cabins #1, #8, #10, #15, and #16. PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN OTHER CABINS.
Reservation Policies
Deposits
A deposit of 50% is required at the time of reservation and the balance is due 7 days prior to arrival. All reservations made within 7 days of arrival are due in full at the time of reservation.
Sorry, we do not accept checks.
Cancellations
A handling fee of 10% of the total reservation amount is charged on all canceled or moved reservations regardless of the season. The remainder of the deposit may be refunded if canceled within the time period indicated below:
Summer/Holiday Reservations
(May 15 – August 31, plus holidays)
- All cancellations must be made at least 60 days prior to the scheduled arrival date.
- Any cancellations made within 60 days will result in the forfeiture of the deposit.
- Any cancellations made within 7 days will result in the forfeiture of the total charges of the reservation. Sorry, no refunds.
- A handling fee of 10% of the total reservation amount will be charged upon cancellation.
Reservations For All Other Dates
- All cancellations must be made at least 30 days before the scheduled arrival date.
- Any cancellations made within 30 days will result in the forfeiture of the deposit.
- Any cancellations made within 7 days will result in the forfeiture of the total charges of the reservation. Sorry, no refunds.
- A handling fee of 10% of the total reservation amount will be charged upon cancellation.
Extra People
- We have indicated the maximum number of people (day or overnight) allowed to use each Vacation Home. Valhalla is private property and as such is not open to unregistered, unpaid people.
- If you wish to have guests visit with you at your Vacation Home, as long as your guests do not exceed the maximum allowed—their visit must be arranged before their arrival and they will be charged at the extra person rate.
Groups
We are happy to accept groups/family reunions/wedding parties. Groups must complete payment for a stay 30 days prior to arrival. Call to discuss and make reservations for groups. (970) 586-3284

- Winter: Two Nights
- Fall: Three Nights
- Summer: Four Nights
- Spring: Two Nights
- Thanksgiving: Three Nights
- Christmas or New Year’s: Four Nights
