With its rich wild west history, you might think Estes Park would be leaders in distilling. And top-notch distillers do indeed call Estes Park home. However, it’s the award-winning Estes Park wineries, that elegantly combine the vibrancy of wine with the rugged terrain of the Rockies, and the expertly crafted beers that make Estes Park perfect for any wine or beer lover.

Snowy Peaks Winery

Snowy Peaks Winery offers tastings of wine made on-site as well as bottles made by other Colorado wineries. Try the Riesling, Merlot, Syrah, and more during a visit to this delightful tasting room.

They also carry gourmet cheeses, jams, chocolates, and more in their shop. Snowy Peaks is child-friendly with their “No Wine-ing Zone,” where the kids will get to enjoy their own tasting, of juice of course.

They’re located at 292 Moraine Ave. and can be reached at 970-586-2099. They are open seven days a week but the hours vary by the season so please call ahead for the current hours.

Estes Park Brewery

Estes Park Brewery is a must-visit if you like beer, food, and shooting pool with the bonus of a scenic overlook. They have a variety of beers, including its Longs Peak Raspberry Wheat, Estes Park Gold, Redrum Ale, Staggering Elk Lager, The Shining Pale Ale, and more. They have a large menu filled with appetizers, chili, pizza, burgers, sandwiches and kids’ menu.

Estes Park Brewery is located at 470 Prospect Village Dr. Reach them at 970-586-5421 or visit from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday or 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Rock Cut Brewing Company

At Rock Cut Brewing, you’ll find distinctive Colorado beers brewed by two Estes Park residents and beer enthusiasts. They have 12 taps in their taproom with a large variety of styles of beers.

Dancing Pines Distillery

Dancing Pines prides itself on its artisan spirits where they produce rum, whiskey, and liqueurs. Their liqueurs are unique with flavors including brûlée, cherry tart, and chai. They never use extracts and prefer to use real ingredients in their small batches.

Visit the Estes Park Tasting Room at 207 Park Lane Sunday-Thursday from 1 – 8 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
