Activities
Activities
Center -
Cable TV, Ping Pong, Foos Ball and the arcade classic "Frogger"
can be found in here. Plenty of room to kick back and relax
while doing laundry in our clean and convenient Guest Laundromat.
Coke and Pepsi vending machines, a pay phone and all sporting
equipment are located here for your convenience.
Swimming Pool -
During the Summer months our outdoor heated pool is a favorite
gathering place. Take a relaxing swim and then take an even
more relaxing break on one of our pool deck lounge chairs.
We also have a wading pool for the littler ones to enjoy.
Hot
Tub -
After a full day of activity... or just relaxing... take
a soak in our sheltered, outdoor hot tub; which you may
reserve for your own private use. Located near the Valhalla
Office.
Mini
Golf -
Get the family together for a friendly round of mini-golf.
We have the clubs and balls, all you need bring is your
putting skills.
Shuffle
Board -
Not just for cruise ships anymore. A great way to enjoy
a sunny day landside.
Horse
Shoes -
If you know the rules, we have the tools. We have a safety
set so the younger ones can even get in on the action.
Basketball

Shoot an afternoon on our outdoor basketball court. Ball
provided.
Playground
-
All the basics. Swing, ride and climb. What more could one
want?
Volleyball

This resort classic is alive and well at Valhalla. Side
out... .
Guest
Laundromat -
Not traditionally considered a recreational activity by
most, but why not look at it that way? Located within the
Activities Center. Detergent, softner and change available
at the Valhalla Office. An iron and ironing board provided
for your use.

General Policies
In
order to make our Resort more enjoyable for all of our guests,
we ask that you be aware of the following policies.
- Valhalla
is a private property and as such, is not open to unregistered,
unpaid people. The vacation home you rent, along with
our complete resort area, is for paid, registered guests
only.

PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED. Sorry,
we cannot make exceptions to this policy.
-
RVs are not allowed on our resort property.
- Car-washing
is NOT allowed on our premises. We have many commercial
car washes in our village.
Reservation
Policies
Deposits:
Single
Reservations:
Deposit of 1st and last nights - or 1/3 of your total
reservation, whichever is greater - is required within 1
week of making your reservation. We will accept all major
credit cards at the time the reservation is made, or, if
time allows, you may submit a personal check or money order
via mail.
Group/Large
Home/Long Reservation:
Applies to #9(up and down), duplex #11/#12, duplex #17/#17A
and #20. Also applies to any combination of two or more
homes for 1 group, as well as any length of stay exceeding
7 nights. A deposit of 50% or first and last nights, whichever
is greater, is due within one week of making the reservation.
The balance is due at least 30 days prior to arrival or
the reservation will be cancelled and the original deposit
will be non-refundable.
Cancellations:
Refund
of deposit is gauranteed if reservations are cancelled as
follows: ( Number of days indicates the least number of
days prior to your arrival date that you may cancel without
losing your entire deposit.)
- Fall
- Single Res: 30 days

Fall - Group Res: 45 days

Winter/Spring - Single Res: 21 days

Winter/Spring - Group Res: 30 days

Summer - Single Res: 45 days

Summer - Group Res: 60 days
A
handling fee of $25 / vacation home or 10% of the total,
whichever is greater, is charged on all cancelled reservations.
You may call to cancel your reservation, but we will need
a letter following your phone call to assure your refund
if you have one coming.
Extra
People:
We
have indicated the maximum number of people - day or overnight
- allowed to use each Vacation Home. Valhalla is private
property and as such is not open to unregistered, unpaid
people. If you wish to have guests visit with you at your
Vacation Home - as long as you plus your guests does not
exceed the maximum allowed - their visit must be arranged
before their arrival and they will be charged at the extra-person
rate.
Groups:
During
our busy seasons, we can accommodate only small groups up
to a maximum of 16 people using certain designated Vacation
Homes. Call for further information.
Minimum
Stays:

Winter: 2 Nights
- Fall:
3 Nights
- Summer:
5 Nights
- 'Tween
Times: 3 Nights

Thanksgiving: 3 Nights
- Christmas/New
Year: 4 Nights
However,
if there is a shorter stay between confirmed reservations,
we will rent that space. Call for availability.
