Classes and workshops

On Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday, you’ll find Sip & Paint classes at Murphy’s Resort that is open to the general public. Each night has its own theme or work that the participants work on and the resort provides the 16" x 20" canvas, paint and brushes, easels, and aprons. Drinks are available for purchase in the lounge. The cost for the class is $45 (subject to change). For more information, call 970-480-2955.

The Art Center of Estes Park? offers adult art classes for its members and non-members throughout the year and hosts many Friday and Saturday workshops like “Fun with Color,” or “Painting Dramatic Skies in Watercolor.” Fees range from $20 to $175 (subject to change) for non-members and classes generally last from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Cultural Arts Council partners with Estes Outreach to offer arts and crafts classes during the year. Classes span a range of topics from low key paintings to jewelry making.

Legg Studio hosts The Masters Easel Art Academy with several art workshops. These workshops are two to four-day affairs with a one-hour lunch break each day and feature different instructors and themes. Topics can range from landscape paintings to still life oil paintings. Costs can range from $425 to $925 (subject to change).
